Embed Anything in a Client Portal

To embed a Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) report, first make sure that you are the owner of the report. If you don’t see an “Edit” button, then you need to first copy the report to your account.

Then click File > Embed Report. You may be prompted to enable embedding, and then you can copy the embed url. Make sure your sharing settings allow anyone with a link to view or else it will be restricted to those with access.

If you have a Microsoft 365 account it is easy to embed Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents. Just open the file in your online account and click File > Share > Embed to get the embed code to paste into Ahsuite.

To embed an Airtable view, first ensure you're an editor or owner of the base. If you're not seeing options to share or edit, you might need to adjust your permissions or contact the base owner.

Next, navigate to the view you'd like to embed, and click "Share and sync" and then "Embed this view." You will be presented with an embed code that you can copy and paste into a page in Ahsuite.

To embed a YouTube video, simply navigate to the YouTube video you want to embed. Below the video, click on the "Share" button and then select "Copy link" to copy the video's URL. You can use this URL directly in Ahsuite, as it accepts almost any video URL for embedding purposes.

Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Presentations, and Google Forms all require you to follow these steps (with some slight variation): go to File > Share > Publish to Web, and then you can copy an embed url. You need to find that “publish to web” option in order for embedding to work. You should also check the settings options; for example, to keep Sheets updated you must select “Automatically republish when when changes are made.”

To embed a Google Map, start by searching for the location or address in Google Maps. Once you've found the desired location, click on the "Share" button, then select the "Embed a map" tab. You'll be presented with an embed code. Copy this code to embed the map in a client portal.

With a dashboard open, click the Share icon and then “Copy Embed Code.” You can paste the whole embed code into the field in Ahsuite. Note that your settings in Tableau can limit the sites where it can be embedded. Also note that your Tableau account needs to allow Guest access, or else the person accessing the dashboard will need to log in to their Tableau account.

You can get an embed code for a Google Calendar from a computer, but not the Google Calendar app. Just click the options (three dot) icon next to the specific calendar you want to share, select “Settings and sharing”, then scroll down to copy the embed code. You can paste the full embed code into Ahsuite.

To embed a Figma board, simply go to "Share", make sure that anyone with the link can view the board, and copy the link. Do NOT copy the html from the Embed tab.

To embed a Google Form, make sure you're the owner or have edit access. Open the form and click on the "Send" button. You can click either the link icon or the "< >" icon for an embed url or code that you can paste directly into an Ahsuite page.
