Kristyan Rose Gilmore earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma in 2001, a Juris Doctorate from Howard University in 2008, and a Master of Arts in Government emphasizing public administration and nonprofit management from Regent University in 2012. She is a Texas-licensed attorney with a solution-focused business and estate planning practice. She is a member of the political science fraternity Pi Sigma Alpha Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the Junior League. She has taught at Oklahoma State University, Prairie View A&M University, Lone Star College, Purchase College, Westchester Community College, and the University of South Florida. An A. Leon Higganbotham, Jr. fellow of the American Arbitration Association, Kristyan’s current research focuses on self-awareness as a tool for helping social entrepreneurs succeed.
